He was fighting to hold on as Atwater questioned his father about this kid. She just knew that he always wore a red coat.
She recognized him as someone that always hung around Lew and Malik. She said she saw a kid running out of the building not long after the gunshots. The one that shot Malik was one of those kids that didn’t live there. Not all of the kids live in the neighborhood. He fixes their bikes or put air int their footballs. Lew claims that he helps them with things.
Lew keeps an eye on the kids in the neighborhood. He was one of the kids that Lew Atwater took under his wings. He ended up finding his father administering first aide to a kid that got shot.
